I am a writer who grew up in Streator and St. Charles, two small Illinois towns. Although I’ve lived in Georgia since the 1980s, I will always consider myself a Midwesterner.
After earning my Ph.D. at Georgia State University, I taught Public Speaking, English, Creative Writing, Film History, and other communication courses at various colleges and universities. In my writing career I’ve written plays, screenplays, fiction, and non-fiction and am now focused on writing crime fiction.
On this website you’ll find information about my work, including synopses, reviews, excerpts, etc. There’s also a blog on vegetarian food and playing the guitar.
I live in Stone Mountain, Georgia with Kimber Herndon and Davy.
Buster and Henry will always live in our hearts.
