Agnolotti (priest hats) is a type of pasta that is similar to ravioli. Publix recently had this product on sale, and I was eager to try it.
I was very impressed. It tasted like a restaurant pasta. I found it fresh and delicious. The mushroom filling (portobello and crimini) was creamy and rich.
It was easy to prepare. Place the pasta in boiling water and cook for 4-6 minutes. I put butter and cheese on it (along with garlic salt, dill, basil, and almonds), but I’ll skip the cheese next time because the pasta was quite rich by itself.
It is a filling meal. The package says it serves 2 1/2 (each serving is 280 calories). I shared it with my partner, and we had leftovers.
According to the package, the agnolotti is “generously filled with fresh portobello & crimini mushrooms, imported grana padano & parmesan cheeses & fresh roasted garlic.”
I would definitely purchase this again.
