Helen’s Kitchen Thai Green Curry

I’d never heard of this company before I picked up a frozen box of Thai Green Curry at a local natural foods store. This is an interesting company with a wide variety of vegetarian foods, and after trying Helen’s Thai Green Curry I’m eager to try some of the other offerings.

This frozen food took much longer to bake than the instructions said (350 degrees for 20 minutes), but it smelled right when cooking, and the meal was spicy and tasty. According to the box, “After years of refinement, my son’s wife and I developed our own simmering Green Curry sauce that blends authentic spices and Green Tea Match with rich coconut milk. We served it with colorful portions of Endamame, Sweet Potatoes, Sugar Snap Peas in a Japonica and Brown Rice Pilaf to complete the meal.”

The meal is filling though it only has 320 calories. It did not look like the box, and I found it a bit mushy. Still, it was an enjoyable meal, and I’d buy it again.

Four out of five stars.
