I enjoyed both the Peas Pulao and the Mughlai Kofta Curry very much. The curry was mildly spiced and tasted like Indian food you’d get at a restaurant.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the cooked product looked nothing like the packaging. There were two fritters in the tray (not six as shown on the box). Also, the peas were dried up and wrinkled, not plump and fresh-looking.
I picked up the product at Big Lots for $2.50. It’s very convenient to prepare–just microwave for 2 minutes. The product has a whopping 560 calories, but it is quite filling and won’t leave you hungry. There are no preservatives. For those who watch your salt intake it also had 2120 milligrams of sodium–that’s a lot.
All in all, though, I would buy the product again. It satisfied a craving for Indian food.
Four out of five stars. I could not find a US website for the company, but here is an article about the company http://www.indusbusinessjournal.com/ME2/Audiences/dirmod.asp?sid=&nm=&type=Publishing&mod=Publications%3A%3AArticle&mid=8F3A7027421841978F18BE895F87F791&tier=4&id=7C46847443EA483D8E2B986EEBB132C0&AudID=0C5ABC84F3CE4D0DB8BF8D0BF8BD2F70
